PDP Chairman, Bro. Obuah Hails Gov Wike’s 3 Years in Office

Overwhelmed with joy over the myriad grassroots projects lined up for commissioning in commemoration of His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike’s historic three years in office as Rivers State governor, Bro Felix Obuah, State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says former governor Rotimi Chibuike and the defeated 2015 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dakuku Peterside have been invited to witness democracy in action through the commissioning of people oriented and enduring projects by Governor Wike in Rivers State.

The State PDP boss, Bro. Obuah who made the declaration through a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam said the invitation became necessary so that the duo of Amaechi and Dakuku who had always feigned ignorance of Governor Wike’s developmental strides will see for themselves what purposeful leadership is about.

Though every democratic society needs virile opposition not to deviate from the path of probity and accountability, such opposition should be constructive and expressed in good faith and not out of bitterness and hate, the State PDP Chairman noted.

Bro Felix Obuah said the landmark achievements of Governor Wike in all sectors of the State economy will remain indelible in sands of history for posterity, stressing that it’s only the blind and self-seeking aggrieved individuals who will refuse to acknowledge these landmarks.

He applauded the understanding of the Rivers people who have continued to show love and solidarity to Govrnor Wike despite the efforts of anti-democratic marshals who may have resolved to see the State not move beyond their parochial interests.

Bro Obuah who noted that Rivers people had never had it so good, enjoined the people to remain steadfast in their support for the Wike administration.

The State PDP chairman, Obuah, congratulated Governor Wike for a job wonderfully being done and reassured that the Rivers people have demonstrated their readiness to have him back for a second term so that the good jobs he (Wike) is doing across the State will be well concluded.
